Get DayMap on your Mac, iPhone & Watch

Thanks for helping me test DayMap. It takes about five minutes — here's everything you need.

DayMap runs on all three, and they stay in step over iCloud. Test whichever you'll actually use. If you use more than one, even better — that's how sync gets exercised.

What you need

  • Mac — macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later

  • iPhone or iPad — iOS 17 or later

  • Apple Watch — watchOS 10 or later

1 · Install TestFlight

TestFlight is Apple's free app for trying apps before they reach the App Store. It's a separate app on each device — installing it on your iPhone doesn't put it on your Mac.

→ Get TestFlight from the App Store

→ On your Mac, get it from the Mac App Store.

2 · Open my invite

Tap or click the button below on the device you want DayMap on. It opens in TestFlight — choose Accept, then Install.

Do this once per device. The same link works on all of them.

3 · Add it to your Apple Watch · optional

Open the Watch app on your iPhone → scroll to Available Apps → tap Install next to DayMap.

4 · Unlock everything · free in the beta

On Mac: DayMap menu → Settings (or press ⌘,) → Upgrade to DayMap Pro… → choose LifetimeOn iPhone:Settings → Upgrade to DayMap Pro… → choose Lifetime

You'll see a price on screen, but you will not be charged — TestFlight runs purchases in Apple's free sandbox. Just confirm like a normal purchase.

This turns on iCloud sync, calendar sync (your tasks appear in Apple Calendar), calendar events (your real calendar shows up alongside your tasks), recurring tasks, contexts, and unlimited projects — so nothing is limited while you test.

5 · Let it restart for iCloud

After you upgrade, DayMap will ask to relaunch. Please let it — sync can't switch on mid-session.

On Mac the prompt has a Relaunch button. On iPhone, quit and reopen the app. If you miss the prompt, just quit and reopen and it'll pick up from there.

To check it's working: Settings → iCloud should say "Syncing with iCloud."

Your data is safe either way. Nothing is deleted by turning sync on or off.

Good to know

It's a beta, so I'll push updates now and then. If TestFlight shows Update, tap it. If a build ever says it's expired, open TestFlight and grab the newest version.

What I'd most like tested: if you're on more than one device, whether your projects and tasks stay in step without you thinking about it.
