DayMap — Frequently Asked Questions

What is DayMap?

DayMap brings your projects, tasks, and calendar into one clear view. Organize your work into projects, break projects into tasks, then schedule those tasks onto your day and week — so you always know what to do next. Plan your week, then focus on today.

Which devices does DayMap work on?

DayMap is a native app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. One download works on all three, and with DayMap Pro your projects and tasks stay in sync across every device.

Do I need to create an account?

No. DayMap has no logins or passwords. Your data lives on your device, and — with DayMap Pro — syncs privately through your own iCloud account. Nothing to sign up for.

PLANS & PRICING

How much does DayMap cost?

DayMap is free to download and use. DayMap Pro unlocks everything and is available two ways: $29 a year (with a 14-day free trial), or $69 one-time for a lifetime unlock.

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes unlimited tasks and up to 5 projects on one device, stored locally. It's a complete way to plan your day.

What does DayMap Pro unlock?

DayMap Pro adds iCloud sync across all your devices, calendar sync with your Apple (or Google) calendar, recurring tasks, contexts for grouping projects (Work, Family, Home…), and unlimited projects.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Start the annual plan and you won't be charged for the first 14 days. Explore every Pro feature, and if it's not for you, cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't pay a thing. After 14 days it continues at $29 a year unless canceled.

Annual subscription or lifetime — which should I choose?

Both unlock the exact same features. The annual plan ($29 a year) is the easiest way to start and includes the free trial. The lifetime option ($69 once) is a single payment with no renewals — best if you know you're in for the long haul.

Can I share DayMap Pro with my family?

Yes. DayMap Pro supports Family Sharing, so one purchase can be shared with everyone in your Apple Family group.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open DayMap, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple Account, your Pro unlock comes right back.

SYNC & PRIVACY

Does DayMap sync across my devices?

Yes, with DayMap Pro. Sync runs privately through your own iCloud account — turn it on in Settings and your projects, tasks, and schedule stay up to date everywhere.

Is my data private?

Completely. DayMap does not collect your data. Everything stays on your device and, if you enable sync, in your personal iCloud account — which only you can access. There are no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, and (with Pro) in your private iCloud storage. We never see it.

FEATURES

Can I see my tasks on my calendar?

Yes. Schedule a task to a day and time and it appears on DayMap's built-in day and week views. With DayMap Pro, scheduled tasks can also mirror into your Apple Calendar — and into Google Calendar if you've added your Google account to your device's Calendar settings.

What are contexts?

Contexts (a Pro feature) let you group related projects — like Work, Family, or Home — so you can filter your board to just what matters right now.

How do recurring tasks work?

With DayMap Pro, set a task to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, and DayMap keeps it on your schedule automatically.

Can I capture ideas quickly?

Yes. Use the Inbox to jot anything down in a couple of taps, then organize it into a project when you're ready. On Mac there's also a global quick-add shortcut.
